Letters from Home

Letters from Home invites parents, family members, and friends to write and submit a letter to their University of Arkansas student through our online submission form. From there, we format the letter, print it, and deliver it to your student during the first few weeks of school, which is typically the toughest time during the transition for your student.

Letters can be words of encouragement, opportunities for reflection, pride, and hopes for the next four years. This is a great opportunity to share all of the things you want to say on move-in day, but might not be able to emotionally handle.  

 

Families can send a Letter from Home for the 2026-27 school year until August 21st

In order to get the letter to your student, we’ll need the following information:

• Your student’s full name (first, middle, and last name)
• Your student’s University of Arkansas email address
• Your student’s Residence Hall name and their room #
